SUPPLY.training ("we", "the site") provides free logistics, dangerous-goods and export-import tools and reference content. This page explains what happens to your data when you use the site, in plain language, tool by tool.

Summary

There is no account, no sign-up and no sale of personal data. Most tools run entirely in your browser. A few specific, limited pieces of data leave your device as described below. The site uses or plans to use Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which set their own cookies; see the Google section below.

What each tool does with your data

Dangerous Goods Checker

The SDS (Safety Data Sheet) PDF you upload is processed directly in your browser — it is not uploaded to our server. Only the UN number extracted from it is sent to a third-party reference service, freightutils.com, to look up the matching ADR/IMDG classification. No other part of the document leaves your device.

Export–Import Assistant

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to our server or to any third party.

Logistics & Supply Chain Translator

The text you enter is sent to our server, which forwards it to MyMemory (api.mymemory.translated.net), a third-party translation service, to get the translated result back. We do not store the text you submit.

Cookies and Google services

SUPPLY.training uses, or plans to use, the following Google services, which may set cookies in your browser and use data according to Google's own policies, not ours:

You can see how Google uses this data, and your options (including opting out of personalised advertising), at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland: Google Analytics and Google ads do not store or read cookies on your device until you accept in the consent message (Google's consent tool). If you decline, the tools work exactly the same. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the “Privacy and cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

Affiliate links

Some course links on the Courses page are affiliate links (for example, to Coursera and edX). If you click one and enrol, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The affiliate network (impact.com) may set a cookie to attribute that commission correctly.

Server logs

Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information for every visit (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and operational purposes. We do not use this data for tracking or advertising ourselves.

What we don't do

Your choices

You can use most of this site's tools without any data leaving your device at all (Export–Import Assistant, and the Dangerous Goods Checker if you skip SDS upload). You can block cookies in your browser at any time, which may disable Google Analytics and personalised AdSense ads but will not affect the tools themselves. You can also use the Google opt-out link above.

Contact

Questions about this policy or how your data is handled can be sent to contact@supply.training.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page as the site's tools or services change (for example, when Google Analytics or AdSense go live). The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
